[ For those who may frequently keep an eye on the network, this will be a new face outside of Cinder. Gintoki plain does not use the network. But he has a couple of important announcements, and so he is here.

It takes a couple of seconds after the video turns on for him to decide that he got it right and the recording has started. Then he fiddles with the phone for another few seconds to get it into a decent position against the comic book he's laid on the table, his scowl slowly deepening until he finally leans back on the couch with a scoff. ]

Don't understand what's wrong with phones with buttons and good ol' video cameras.

[ Clearly muttered to himself, but audible.

Finally, he presses a curled fist up against his mouth and clears his throat. As his hand lowers, he puts on a somewhat disturbing smile as he reaches across the couch to pick up a bag of Special Flavor Coffee Beans. He makes a show of holding it up in front of the camera like he's in an advertisement or the TV shop or something, and speaks with a clearly fake enthusiasm that anyone who knows him would know is sort of uncharacteristic. ]

[ I beg your deepest pardon. Don't they just sell that coffee at Moondrop anyway? Honestly, he doesn't know.

And then he just tosses the bag onto the couch like it's not precious. As he keeps talking, his voice settles into his usual lackadaisical drawl. ]

I'm also looking for a tailor. More exactly, someone who can tailor kimonos. See this?

[ He holds up his arm to fully show the blue cloud-like pattern at the end of the sleeve of his kimono. ]

This is a custom pattern fit for a protagonist. I got thrown into this place with just one of these kimonos, and that's unacceptable. I can't go around wearing plain yukatas most days of the week, I need my kimono!

[ Oh, suddenly the passion is back in his voice. It sounds way more real than his ridiculous coffee bean advert voice. He suddenly leans his head back against the backrest of the couch, covering his face with one hand. ]

I'm an embarrassment to my kind!

[ After a second or so, he seems to compose himself, lifting his head again to stare blankly into the camera. ]

And I could use a couple of haoris too. Oh, and you should give me some of them for free, 'cause it's my birthday. Everybody say happy birthday to Gin-san. I accept cakes, parfaits and chocolate.

[ Didn't even properly introduce himself, the nerve. He just leans forward and clicks post, or however it works. ]

[ The man on screen is tall and well-muscled, with impeccable posture and a detached expression. A pair of antlers branch above his head. His skin is grayish, his white hair is long, and he has what are quite frankly fabulous cheekbones. (To those who know Thanatos or Hypnos, the familial resemblance may be apparent.) ]

It was suggested to me that I speak to other gods about life in this realm. I am Moros.

[ That, he thinks, is introduction enough. ]

I have little "life experience" outside of my work, and my interactions with mortals have been confined to that. Knowing that, I ask: what do you believe would best prepare me for life in this realm?

[ He shifts his weight just slightly. ]

I also have a few questions for mortals. What is it you enjoy about life here? What causes you concern? Do you feel as if you are master of your own fate, or do you believe there is a greater design?

I have a few things to address about the whole Hell Dimension thing, but another completely unrelated announcement.

[He didn't use Rinku's post from earlier since this is sort of personal and kind of something he wants people to know... as much as it's annoying.]

A while back a group of us went to the Survival Fortress. During that time I was captured by demons for a bit. I saw at least three of them turn into "me". [He looks very, very sour at the memory.]

At least one of them died at the fortress. Another one died while the Hell Dimension mission was going on. But there are still at least a few left. So if you see me somewhere in the Winter Segment, call me first before assuming I'm doing something evil.

[Who knows what the demons get up to.]

... and if a vacuum cleaner starts doing something suspicious somewhere, that might be a demon king in disguise. Pretty sure it remained trapped in the dimension but you never know.

[ANYWAY--]

The other, better announcement is that we're holding a meeting at Odyssey for members to get to know each other! We also welcome anyone who is interested in joining.

If you feel like it, bring some snacks and drinks. We do have food for everyone, but what's a better way of bonding than showing your favorite food?

The headquarters is located in Frostreign [a fake map link]. It will be on October 11th, so this Saturday! Feel free to bring your friends with you, of course.

[ Even SecUnit is aware that humans often need some form of visual stimulus to go with reading text on a screen, but it is very anxious about showing it's human face on the screen when it doesn't have the ability to wear a blank face plate on its helmet at the same time to keep humans from looking at the expressions on its face. So instead, think of this post as one of those infographics that you will see on Instagram with falling snow in the background. ]

I'm used to having a med system that can slide into my feed and tell me exactly what I need to do for a traumatised human, but I don't have a med system that's independently functional here. I have access to basic human anatomy diagrams, but that is really it. I'm no good at the kinds of messy human emotions that come with trauma recovery. Is there some kind of med center that would be more helpful for a human's continued mental health?

[The video starts in Lycaon's rather nice kitchen. He sets the camera down on his counter and steps out of frame to reveal a rather nice cake. He smiles as he uses tweezers to place a final cherry on top.]

I have been here over a year now. It has taken me time to assemble the capital but I have done so. I am pleased to make two announcements. First, Victoria Housekeeping is now an officially recognized business by Ellipsa's governing body. I am pleased to announce an official office and presence here in Ellipsa. All those you hired Victoria Housekeeping before now, I thank you for your patronage and your assistance in making this a reality. I am very thankful to you all.

I will continue any current outstanding contracts while we open officially for a more robust clientele. Please fill out the services request form and submit it to me personally or by forwarding the completed form to the official contact for Victoria Housekeeping.

The other announcement is a simple one. Today is my birthday. I did not celebrate last year outside of a quiet dinner but this year I thought it best to bake in celebration of both of these events.
